Jay Husson
Chinese Program
Jay Husson studies early Chinese thought and its interpretations and transformations over the ages, especially around issues of pedagogy and action in the broader ru 儒 (“Confucian”) tradition. He is also interested in refractions of philosophical and religious themes through various mediums, including poetry, music, and film. En route to Berkeley, he received a B.A. in East Asian Studies from Middlebury College and worked at a community organization in San Francisco’s Chinatown.
