Birch Fund

The departments of East Asian Languages and Cultures and Comparative Literature have established an award for graduate students in honor of Cyril Birch.  We celebrated Cyril with the announcement of the award at the EALC graduation in May of 2017, and were thrilled that he could be there along with his daughter, son-in-law and grandson. Our goal for this fund is to reach $50,000, at which point it will be permanently endowed. Please donate whatever you can.  Your participation is just as important as the amount you give.
