Korean Language Program
Kyung-Ah Kim received her B.A. in Linguistics from Cornell University and her M.A. in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from the University of San Francisco. She has also studied Korean Linguistics at Seoul National University, TESL/TEFL at UC Berkeley Extension, and Linguistics at UC Berkeley--where she discovered her passion for teaching Korean as a foreign language and advising college students while teaching Elementary Korean as a Graduate Student Instructor. Her current research and teaching interests focus on Korean linguistics, second language acquisition, and language teaching with digital technologies (including synchronous and asynchronous online teaching).
